Ueda Yuji (Yuji Ueda) is a male voice actor and stage actor from Kitakyushu, Fukuoka. He is known as an accomplished performer who has voiced many popular characters, including Sanosuke Sagara in 'Rurouni Kenshin,' Akito Tenkawa in 'Martian Successor Nadesico,' and Takeshi (Brock) in 'Pokemon.' For the 2001 anime 'Hakaima Sadamitsu' he voiced the protagonist Sadamitsu and performed the opening theme 'Otoko no Michi wa Kenka Michi.' Lyrics were by the series' director Koichi Ohata and composition and arrangement by Shigeo Naka, and his fervent singing, drawing on his acting career, energized the opening of this wild action series. It is an example of a performer singing a tie-up under his own name.
