Makiyo is a singer of mixed Japanese and Taiwanese heritage. After beginning her career in Taiwan, she also released songs in Japan centered on anime tie-ins, earning support for her soft yet firm voice. She performed two ending themes for the anime 'Bakuten Shoot Beyblade G Revolution', 'Kaze no Fuku Basho' and 'Sign of Wish', bringing the final stretch of the series to a close with her warm vocals.
