Mani Lover is a Japanese rock band formed by high school classmates in Aomori Prefecture. They made their major debut after renaming themselves from their predecessor band 'Maniac Lovers', and are characterized by simple, fresh guitar sound and life-sized lyrics that seem to crop out scenes from everyday life. Their debut single 'Shiawase' was used as the first ending theme of the TV Asahi anime 'Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo', with lyrics and music by Haruyopi and arrangement by the band themselves. It has been cherished as a youth song that wraps up the aftertaste of the wild, absurd gag antics of the main show with the warmth of casual everyday life.
