FREENOTE is a Japanese rock band that emerged from a music club at Kansai University. Featuring a female vocalist, they are characterized by pop melody lines, a simple band sound and vocals that feel somehow nostalgic. In anime, they handled 'Kirai Tune', the second ending theme of the TV Asahi anime 'Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo'. With lyrics and music written by the band themselves, it is an ending song whose fresh opening line, cropping out the scene of cherry blossoms blooming, and whose striking gap with the bizarre main show have made it one of the signature theme songs associated with the series.
