Scoobie Do is a four-member male Japanese funk/soul-rock band. Armed with sharp, horn-like guitar cutting, a rolling groove and the sleek, dramatic voice of Shu Koyama, they enjoy long-standing popularity as a live band. In anime, they handled 'Akaneiro ga Moeru Toki', the ending theme of the TV anime 'Gungrave'. With lyrics by Shu Koyama, music by Taijiro Matsuki and the band's own arrangement, this soulful song, reflecting the sadness of twilight and the way these men live their lives, is still spoken of as a masterful ending that quietly wraps up a story of betrayal and reunion.
