Bi Kyo Ran

Bi Kyo Ran is a Japanese progressive rock band centered on guitarist Kunio Suma. Strongly influenced by King Crimson, they are characterized by heavy, tension-filled ensemble work, complex changing meters and theatrical development, and they are known as veterans of the domestic prog scene. In anime, they handled the soundtrack and the ending theme 'Trust Me' for the TV Tokyo anime 'Cromartie High School'. Their tactic of throwing hard-boiled, heavy progressive sound head-on at a nonsensical gag show populated by outlandish students such as a gorilla, a robot and Freddie made the surreal flavor of the series stand out all the more.
