BUZZLIP is a Japanese mixture/loud-rock band featuring vocalist HAZE, guitarist HAJIME and DJ.MELTDOWN. Characterized by aggressive guitar riffs, vocals that weave rap and shouts together, and a heavy sound boosted by turntables, they became widely known through anime tie-ups. 'Wild Rock', the opening theme of the TV anime 'Saiyuki Reload', was written by HAZE with music and arrangement by the band, and is an upper-tempo loud rock tune that speeds along with Sanzo's party on their journey to the west. As an exemplar of hard-boiled anime openings, it remains a memorable song among fans of Kazuya Minekura's original work.
