Rin' is a Japanese traditional instrument unit formed by three female musicians who graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts. While mastering traditional Japanese instruments such as the koto, jushichigen, biwa, shamisen, and shakuhachi, they pursue a modern sound fused with rock and dance music, and are active both in Japan and abroad. For the TV anime 'SAMURAI 7', they performed the ending theme 'Fuhen'. The crisp tones of the traditional instruments and their crystal-clear choral work accompanied the grand, melancholic drama of this series, which reconstructed Akira Kurosawa's 'Seven Samurai' in a sci-fi setting, and wrapped the story's afterglow in rich emotion.
