Takatsugu Tsumabuki is a male soul singer from Fukuoka Prefecture. Armed with a sweet, supple voice that strongly reflects his black music background, he set out as an artist aiming to bridge J-pop and soul. In anime, he made his debut with 'Aoi Tabibito', the ending theme of the sci-fi robot ensemble series 'Kenran Butoh Sai: The Mars Daybreak', singing of the wavering emotions of the young travelers on Mars over a soft melody. Released through Victor Entertainment, the song closes out the show with a lyrical afterglow, in contrast to the heat of the opening.
