Asumi Nakata, Hitomi Terakado, and Mayumi Asano are a female voice actress unit who played, respectively, Lucia Nanami, Hanon Hosho, and Rina Toin in the mermaid fantasy 'Mermaid Melody: Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure', based on the original work by Michiko Yokote and Pink Hanamori. The series is a story of mermaid princesses who fight by singing, and because of its character-as-singer approach the voice actresses' singing forms the core of the narrative. On 'Ai no Ondo-C', the ending theme of the Pure chapter, the three came together with their distinct character voices to brightly and energetically sing of the friendship and love shared by heroines who cross between the sea world and the human world.
