YuU is a Japanese female singer whose real name is Hiroko Goda. Her signature is a clear, translucent singing voice and a lyrical world that delicately portrays nature and everyday scenes, and she has released works built on an acoustic pop sound. On the anime front, she performed 'Kaze no Uta ~WINDY TALES~', the opening theme of the Production I.G-produced TV anime Windy Tales.
