Miki Akiyama is a Japanese female vocalist. She was formerly a member of the music unit VANITY and also works as a solo artist. Her signature is a firm, powerful singing voice, and she specializes in songs with a strong rock flavor. On the anime front, she performed 'Secret World', the opening theme, and 'Mienai Chikara', the ending theme, of the TV anime Tactics, based on the manga by Sakura Kinoshita. With vocal work that lends a mystical and dramatic atmosphere, she colors the work's fantastical world, set in the Meiji era and featuring yokai as its subject matter.
