SaGa is a vocal and dance group consisting of Japanese members based in the United States. After making their Japanese debut on avex trax, they specialize in catchy English-lyric rock and pop tunes. On the anime front, they performed 'Brighter side', the opening theme, and 'And You', the ending theme, of the TV anime Viewtiful Joe, based on the Capcom action game of the same title. They provided bright, upbeat rock sound to this work, which features flashy American-comic-style direction and comical action, energizing the exploits of the hero Joe as he transforms into a superhero. Both songs were released as coupling tracks on a single.
