Kotaro Nakagawa feat. Ondekoza

A collaboration name between composer-arranger Kotaro Nakagawa and the Japanese taiko drumming ensemble Ondekoza. Nakagawa, a graduate of the composition department of Tokyo University of the Arts, is known as a prolific composer of scores for anime and tokusatsu, and also comes from a musical family. Ondekoza is a percussion unit with worldwide activities whose style traces its origins to a taiko group founded on Sado Island in Niigata Prefecture. Their joint credit came to fruition on 'GUN×SWORD', the opening theme of the TV anime 'GUN×SWORD' directed by Goro Taniguchi, delivering a Western-flavored main theme in which heroic taiko, majestic orchestration, and jazz-tinged guitar intertwine.
