Aina is a Japanese female singer whose hallmarks are a clear-toned voice and pop songs that retain a folk tinge. She made her major-label debut with the double A-side single 'Sasakure no Ki / Yasashii Sayonara', and its track 'Yasashii Sayonara' was adopted as the ending theme for the 2005 TV anime 'Glass Mask', based on the original manga by Suzue Miuchi. A calm melody and a gently-speaking voice accompany scenes of loneliness and parting in the life of heroine Maya Kitajima, who devotes herself to the theater, quietly enhancing the dramatic quality of the main story.
