Based on the hit novel by Shuu, a regular nominee on the "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi!" rankings (published by MF Books / KADOKAWA), with a popular comic adaptation ranked highly on Comic Seamore, the story follows Chloe, a former elite operative who leaves her organization to begin life anew under the name Victoria. After rescuing the abandoned young girl Nonna in the Ashbury Kingdom and being taken under the wing of the noble knight captain Jeffrey, each of the three wounded souls learns to confront their pasts and nurture precious bonds.
KI_EN is a three-piece band from Kyoto built around guitar, vocals, and piano, with programmed drums and bass generating a uniquely intricate rhythmic texture that produces delicate, mysterious soundscapes. The group consists of Sora Nogawa (vocals/guitar), Ayumu Hashimoto (keyboards), and Fuga Sawa (guitar). The name "KI_EN" derives from the Japanese word "kien," meaning an unexpected and mysterious encounter or fateful connection.
