"Why? RED induction" carries over the wild exhilaration of the first season's OP "JINGO JUNGLE" while weaving in the gravity and sorrow unique to the second season. Described as a song "to digest frustration and steel the heart in order to live through the darkness," it captures the helplessness of staring down an endless war—and the stubborn refusal to give up on survival.

<Comment from MYTH & ROID>
"Following the first season and the film, MYTH & ROID is honored to perform the opening theme for the TV anime 'The Saga of Tanya the Evil II.'
This song, 'Why? RED induction,' inherits the wild exhilaration of the first season's OP 'JINGO JUNGLE' while adding a seriousness and sorrow unique to the second season.
Gazing at an endless war, a helplessness wells up in the chest. Irony slips out as if to resist the emptiness.
But at its root lies a stubborn will that refuses to give up on survival.
We would be happy if it becomes a song everyone can get fired up to—one that helps you digest your frustration and steel your heart to live through the darkness."

MYTH & ROID is a Japanese act combining international, authentic sound, sharp and catchy melodies, and overwhelming vocal performance. Since their major debut in 2015, they have produced theme songs for numerous hit anime, with total MV and related video views exceeding 150 million. The unit name is a coined word combining "Myth," evoking the past, and "Android," evoking the future.

<About the Anime>
Based on the light novel by Carlo Zen, this military fantasy follows an elite salaryman reincarnated into another world as Tanya von Degurechaff, a fair-haired, blue-eyed young girl. With her trademark rationalism and overwhelming magical talent, she fights to survive an era of turbulent warfare where magic and firearms intertwine.
In the second season, set in the autumn of the unified calendar year 1926, Lieutenant Colonel Tanya von Degurechaff is appointed commander of the newly formed Salamander Kampfgruppe and once again throws herself into the brutal front lines. Yet the unit is, in reality, a makeshift assembly. As an unusually early Federation winter sets in, the Empire is dragged deeper into a quagmire with no exit. While every nation craves a decisive, overwhelming victory and loses sight of what truly matters, Tanya keeps fighting on a merciless battlefield she cannot resist.
