First Anpanman theatrical feature, released by Shochiku Fuji in March 1989. After rescuing the crew of a stricken spaceship, Anpanman befriends a princess from Kirakira-boshi and the robot Mardey Hender, then sets out to recover the stolen 'Twinkling Tears' jewel from the wicked Doronko Maou. Based on Takashi Yanase's beloved series.
