Adventure comedy anime aired on TV Tokyo, based on Hudsons popular role-playing game series. Hero Momotaro, joined by his Dog, Monkey and Pheasant retainers along with fellow folk-tale heroes Kaguya, Urashima Taro and Kintaro, journeys to defeat the demon king revived by the ogres of Onigashima. With lyrics by original game creator Akira Sakuma, the show blends quirky humor with a Japanese-style fantasy world. Animated by Knack.
