Adventure fantasy adapted from Rudyard Kiplings classic and produced by Nippon Animation for TV Tokyo. Mowgli, a human boy raised by wolves in the Indian jungle, befriends the panther Bagheera, the bear Baloo and other denizens of the wild while confronting his origins under the threat of the tiger Shere Khan. The series carefully depicts a childs inner growth in a richly drawn natural world.
