Hot-blooded hobby anime aired on TV Tokyo, based on Tokuda Zaurusus shonen manga. Mini 4WD enthusiast Shiro pilots his hand-built machine Emperor to take on rivals in races across the country, with the show explaining real-world tuning tips along the way. The series ignited Japans first major Mini 4WD boom and became hugely popular with elementary-school readers and viewers.
