Adventure fantasy aired on Fuji TV and animated by Studio Pierrot. The boy Hat, said to be the reincarnation of a legendary hero of the same name, journeys to restore the broken Uson Islands while battling the demon Jiark and his son Kowal who seek to conquer the surface world. Comedian Naoko Nozawa performed the theme song, and the cheerful magical battles and charming cast won the show a young audience.
