A mysterious teakettle releases the spirit Tondekeman, who whisks plucky boy Tomohiko and level-headed schoolmate Hikari through one period of history after another in self-contained time-travel romps. Each episode pastiches a famous film, with subtitles that wink at classic movie titles.
