Stand-alone OVA of Rumiko Takahashis SF rom-com franchise. The clockwork ninja robot Shingo, introduced late in the TV series, returns to Tomobiki and entangles Ataru, Lum, Mendo and the rest of the high-school crew in fresh chaos. Director Setsuko Shibuichi adapts a manga episode that the TV anime never covered, capturing the originals freewheeling humor.
