First half of the OVA adaptation of Masami Yukis SF parody manga, directed by Ayumi Tomobuki at Studio Koa and partners. To counter the powered-suit robbery gang Demon Seed terrorising near-future Tokyo, a police special unit auditions 14-year-old Maron Minakaze as their public hero, who juggles crime fighting with an idol-pop career. The comedy embraces the originals meta jokes about the showbiz industry.
