Third TV adaptation of Osamu Tezukas seminal manga, produced by Tezuka Productions for TV Tokyo. Leo, a white lion born and raised in the African jungle, fights to protect the forest and forge coexistence between humans and animals alongside his companions. Focused on the latter half of the original manga, the show follows Leo as he raises a family and passes the mantle to a new generation, an enduring nature-adventure classic.
