Five-minute short series produced by Mainichi Broadcasting System as its first late-night anime, adapting short stories by SF author Sakyo Komatsu. Each week brings a new mildly off-kilter slice of life or wry near-future episode, distilling the flavor of Komatsus SF in a brief format. The show became a cult favorite as a forerunner of the late-night anime era.
