Gag anime that began on Fuji TV in February 1988. The second TV adaptation of Fujio Akatsuka's classic manga, more than two decades after the 1966 original. Studio Pierrot revives the chaotic Matsuno sextuplets, the catchphrase-loving Iyami, tiny Chibita and oden-shop girl Totoko, repurposing their slapstick antics for an 80s sensibility filled with topical parody and cultural references.
