Aired: 1988
Motorsports drama that began on Fuji TV in March 1988. Adapted from Noboru Rokuda's manga, it follows Gunma Akagi, a young man from Hokkaido who travels to Tokyo chasing the dream of becoming an F1 driver. The story chronicles his climb from F3 through the cutthroat racing scene, his clashes with his family, and his rivalries and romance along the way. Produced by Kitty Films with music by Wataru Yahagi of Anzen Chitai.
