Cyberpunk SF action that began on Nippon TV in April 1988. Set in the near-future Megalocity, the show follows three young Borgmen — Ryo Hayami, Anice Farm and Chuck Sweary — who don combat armor called Valtecter to fight the demonic invasion organization GIL. Produced by Ashi Productions, its mix of cyborg heroes, hard-rock theme songs and refined mecha animation became a late-80s SF favourite.
