Theatrical anime released by Toei in March 1988, produced by Toei Animation. Directed by Shigeyasu Yamauchi from a screenplay by Takao Koyama, this second Saint Seiya film tells an original story set in icy Asgard where the manipulated God Warriors led by Polaris Hilda clash with Seiya and the Bronze Saints. A grand Norse-mythology-flavoured saga centred on the divine sword Balmung and seven Odin Sapphires expands Masami Kurumada's universe.
