Theatrical feature released by Toho in February 1988, produced by Magic Bus. The fifth and concluding Urusei Yatsura film adapts Rumiko Takahashi's manga finale Boy Meets Girl. Director Tetsu Dezaki stages a final showdown over the alien Lou's attempt to abduct Lum and an ancient forgotten ordeal, finally bringing the long-running love story between Ataru Moroboshi and Lum to a close. Released double-billed with Maison Ikkoku: The Final Chapter.
