The conclusion of Rumiko Takahashi's Maison Ikkoku TV series and director Toshimi Mochizuki's first theatrical work, the film follows lovers Yusaku Godai and Kyoko Otonashi in the days leading up to their wedding. With character designs distinct from the TV version, it brings the long-running romance to its emotional climax on the big screen. Released double-billed with Urusei Yatsura: The Final Chapter.
