First volume of an SF action OVA series released in February 1988, animated by Studio Pierrot. Adapted from Konami's popular shoot-'em-up Salamander, the project launches a three-volume saga directed by Hisayuki Toriumi with character design by Haruhiko Mikimoto. Young Prince Stephanie of the Latis Kingdom, Gladius pilot Dan and Eras pilot Eddie band together to repel an attack on the solar system by the menacing Planet Salamander.
