A theatrical anime film based on Izumi Matsumoto's popular shonen romantic-comedy manga. Conceived as an animation-original epilogue to the television series and produced by Studio Pierrot, it depicts the bittersweet conclusion of the love triangle among Kyosuke Kasuga, the boy from a psychic family, and the two heroines Madoka Ayukawa and Hikaru Hiyama. Director Tomomichi Mochizuki's emotionally rich staging together with Kanako Wada's theme song evoke the fragrance of an ending youth, making it one of the most cherished films in the franchise.
