Tatsunoko Production's gag hero anime. A salaryman father, his son and a young girl, blundering into a nuisance dimension ruled by the Demon King Darakura, transform into the legendary warrior Doteraman to bring justice. Surreal designs based on household items, such as the kettle-headed demon Yakansky and dice-headed dice robots, drive the slapstick humor. It also made broadcast history as Japan's first anime aired with closed captions via the teletext system.
