A theatrical compilation companion to the TV adaptation of Mitsuru Adachi's classic baseball romance manga. In about 75 minutes it retraces the most emotional turning point of the series: Tatsuya's rebound after losing his twin brother Kazuya, his decision to join the baseball team and the run-up to the summer Koshien qualifiers alongside Minami. The film distills the manga's coming-of-age essence into a cinematic emotional crescendo, accompanied by Bread & Butter's hit theme 'Sayonara no Okurimono'.
