Witch apprentice Mai Kotegawa, disguised as an ordinary high-school student during her Earth homestay, accidentally falls for her young flatmate. The witty mix of magic and romance presaged the witch-girl romcoms that followed, with three theme songs sung by Miki Takahashi (Asami) lending an effervescent tone.
