A SF horror OVA originally produced by Nakamura Production. In the 23rd century, the rescue ship Makkari is dispatched to the remote planet Inferno-2 to investigate the silent colony ship Columbia, only for the crew to be picked off one by one by an unknown organism. Influenced by Alien but staged on its own terms, the OVA pairs high-grade animation with a lyrical end theme produced by Toshigo Miki and chorus by Rosa Bianca that leaves an unexpectedly tender afterglow.
