Anime film produced by Tokyo Movie Shinsha and distributed by Toho-Towa. A theatrical version of the TV anime 'Rokushin Gattai God Mars' (1981-1982) based on Mitsuteru Yokoyama's manga 'Mars', re-editing the Gishin arc with new cuts. Released December 18, 1982. The film centers on the bond between Marg, a boy who controls the combining robot God Mars to defend Earth, and his estranged brother Zuul, weaving intense tragedy and drama. The end credits notably acknowledged fans who led the signature campaign to continue the series. New theme songs were created for the film, with 'Birthday City' and 'Ai no Story' (lyrics: Tokuko Miura, composer: Yuichiro Oda) performed by Shinichi Kawarada bringing fresh emotional color.
