Against Lepka, the power-hungry strongman of the science-obsessed state of Industria, Conan stands together with Lana and his friends, striving to rescue her grandfather Dr. Lao, who holds the key to solar energy, and to thwart the threat of the giant flying fortress Giganto. With its portrayal of the boy's astonishing physical prowess and purity and its hope for a future in harmony with nature, it is an adventure classic in the history of Japanese animation.
