Ippatsu Kanta-kun

A sports comedy anime co-produced by Tatsunoko Production and Fuji TV, based on an original concept by the Tatsunoko planning room. The Tobase family forms a baseball team called the Homers, consisting of family members and pet dogs, who play against neighborhood teams. Main character Kanta Tobase, inspired by home-run king Sadaharu Oh, leads his cheerful family team through 53 episodes of comedic baseball adventures.
