A TV anime produced by Tokyo Movie Shinsha, based on the French novel "Sans Famille" by Hector Henri Malot. Young Remi, raised in poverty in the rural French village of Chavanon, is sold by his foster father Jerome to traveling performer Vitalis and journeys across France with the dog Capi and monkey Joli-Coeur. Through encounters with various people, Remi grows up and eventually solves the mystery of his origins to reunite with his true family across 51 episodes.
