A racing anime co-produced by Toei and Green Box, based on the original work by Isao Daido. F1 driver Shunsuke Shimizu loses his position after defying team orders at the Japan Grand Prix, but is scouted by Ginjiro Arashi and races the Ruben Kaiser Formula 1, designed by his late father Georg Kaiser, in the world championship. The series depicts the harshness of F1 racing, father-son bonds, and racer growth across 17 episodes.
