Planet Robot Danguard Ace

A robot anime produced by Toei Doga (Toei Animation), based on the original work by Leiji Matsumoto. To clear his missing father's name and join the Promete planet colonization plan, Takuma Ichimonji becomes the pilot of the transformable robot Danguard Ace and battles the invading Doppler Army that seeks Promete. The series blends Spartan training, comradeship, and grand space exploration drama across 56 episodes.
