Sekai Meisaku Dowa: Hakucho no Oji

A theatrical short anime produced by Toei Doga (Toei Animation), based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Wild Swans." Eleven brothers are turned into swans by their stepmother's curse, and their youngest sister Eliza must remain silent for seven years while weaving nettle shirts to break the spell. This 62-minute Andersen adaptation was the centerpiece of the 1977 spring Toei Manga Matsuri lineup.
