Barbapapa (1977 TV anime)

Aired: 1977 - 1978

A short-length fantasy anime produced by K&S with production support from Top Craft, based on the French picture book "Barbapapa" by Annette Tison and Talus Taylor. The shape-shifting pink creature Barbapapa, born from a garden, helps young Francois's family solve various incidents. The first half dubbed the original Dutch production, while K&S produced new episodes for the latter half (156 episodes total). Notably, only voice actors Kaneta Kimotsuki and Noriko Ohara performed all characters.
