Huckleberry no Bouken

A TV anime produced by Group TAC and Herald Enterprise, based on Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" (1884). Set along the late 19th-century Mississippi River, young Huckleberry Finn escapes his violent father and meets the runaway slave Jim on Jackson's Island. They build a raft and journey downriver, encountering con men posing as a Duke and King, and witnessing the Grangerford-Shepherdson feud. The series explores themes of freedom and racism across 26 episodes.
