Manga Sekai Mukashibanashi

A world folktale anime produced by Dax International. The long-running TBS series presents folktales and fairy tales from around the world in weekly omnibus format, primarily European tales by Grimm, Andersen, and Aesop, but also covering Asian, Middle Eastern, South American, and African traditions with regionally-styled artwork. Often considered the world counterpart to "Manga Nihon Mukashibanashi," with Mariko Miyagi's beloved theme songs spanning 127 episodes.
