A TV anime produced by Nippon Animation and Asahi Broadcasting, based on Marjorie Henderson Buell's "Little Lulu" (originally serialized in The Saturday Evening Post from 1935). Seven-year-old Lulu Moppet in a middle-class American family, with strong-willed Annie, kindhearted chubby Tubby, wealthy Wilbur, and scrappy Iggy, creates everyday town-set comedy. The first major Japanese anime adaptation of the iconic American girls' comic, 26 episodes.
